PCR Test – Infectious Coryza

$25.00

🧪 DNA Testing — Infectious Coryza (Avibacterium paragallinarum)

Infectious Coryza is a fast-spreading bacterial respiratory disease in chickens caused by Avibacterium paragallinarum. This PCR test detects the presence of Coryza DNA — even in early infection or in birds that may not show obvious symptoms yet.

🧬 Using a validated primer set targeting the HPG-2 gene, this test helps confirm infection status and rule out Coryza when birds show similar symptoms caused by other diseases like Mycoplasma or ILT.

🔍 What This Test Detects:

  • The bacterial DNA of Avibacterium paragallinarum

  • Confirmatory presence of the Infectious Coryza pathogen

  • Does not detect antibodies or vaccine status — only active or recent bacterial DNA
